Parallax Motion
Vertigo features an exciting new special feature that provides a beautiful style with stunning movement effects. This Parallax Effect features multiple layers of perspective based imagery, that move in a way that provides a stunning level of depth and perspective that can't be achieved with a simple graphic.

The parallax effect imagery is customizable and the layers used in each of the style themes are available in the Source PNG files included with this template release. You can customize the images to whatever you want to create your own stunning parallax powered scene.

The parallax images are featured in the showcase area of the template. There are several different configuration options that allow you to control the appearance of the showcase area, as well as disable the parallax movement or the entire showcase all together.

Full Showcase

When you publish modules to either the "showcase" module position, or the "header" module position, or both; the showcase will appear in its full size, the height adjusting to the size of your content.

Collapsed Showcase

When you unpublish both the "showcase" and "header" module positions, but you still have the showcase enabled for all pages in the template configuration, the showcase will default to a smaller height allowing you to still show off a beautiful parallax header effect without taking up as much space.

Disabled Showcase

In the template configuration, you can disable the entire showcase allowing you to completely remove the showcase artwork and effect on all pages if your site's needs require a more clean approach. You can also set the configuration to display the showcase on only the front page, with all other pages showing the non-showcase layout.

No Movement

If you like the appearance of the showcase imagery, but would prefer not to have the movement effects active, you can disable the parallax javascript in the template configuration options by setting enable_parallax to false. This will disable the mouse driven movement of the parallax effect and the images will remain stationary unless the browser window is resized.
